We learned a lot owning so many goats. With the lack of vets to take care of sick goats we also learned about keeping them healthy and doctoring the sick. It wasn't long before we were being contacted by people in our town for help with their goats. We currently have downsized our herd to 8 does and 1 buck.

Our herd consists of 8 does and 1 buck. Our buck Ash produced some very flashy kids in 2026 and we look forward to seeing what the future holds. Does are brought into the main barn as their due dates approach. The babies stay with their mothers for 1 1/2 to 2 weeks then they are switched to bottles. The mothers are then milked and their milk used for formula for the babies and making goat milk soap. The babies are socialized and handled every day. They are exposed to different animals like dogs, cats and horses.

Living on a farm you are likely to find a lot of different animals. Our farm is no different. Besides the goats, we have a 25-year-old quarter horse named Elliott, a 6-year-old donkey named Petunia, an Australian Shepherd named Phoenix, 3 cats named King Julian, Sophie and Fatty, 10 chickens and 5 Koi fish. Our farm is located on 5 acres in SW Florida.
